New pathway connects Jacksons Hill residents

The Victorian Government is better connecting Jackson Hill estate residents to the Sunbury town centre by building a new landscaped path near the railway line between Shields Street and Lark Court.

Once completed, the pathway will better connect residents of the Jacksons Hill estate to the town centre, and provide a new space for locals to stay fit and active.

Some juvenile trees were removed to make way for the path, but mature trees in the corridor and behind existing homes will remain.

Development Victoria has already delivered a number of walking tracks, parks and playgrounds within Jacksons Hill, including the Galaxy Land adventure playground.

Work on the pathway began in mid-October and will be completed in late 2017.
