Riverwalk Estate, a growing community in Melbourne’s west, continues to build on enhancing its vibrant, well-connected neighbourhood. Located three kilometres from Werribee’s town centre, Riverwalk is home to over 2,500 residents and is expanding with new parks, open spaces, and vital infrastructure projects.
With $2.7 billion invested so far, Riverwalk includes 1,500 lots, a primary school, an early education centre, and several parks, offering essential housing and community services. Once complete, the estate will feature 2,600 homes, two schools, a Town Centre, and 24 hectares of open spaces.
New Parks now open
Carnboon Park, located in the east of the estate, has recently opened. Spanning 8,500 square metres, it offers an adventure play area and scenic recreation spaces near the waterway channel.

A smaller ‘pocket park’ along Newmarket Road, spanning 5,500 square metres, has also recently opened. It features outdoor gym equipment and recreational areas, enhancing the estate’s green space offerings.

Further north along Kaliash Road, works are underway on another park that includes a unique aeroplane-themed play area, alongside River Red Gums. This park, developed by Ausland Landscaping, will open soon.
Sustainable Acoustic Wall Update
In addition to new parks, Riverwalk is making strides in sustainable infrastructure with the commencement of Stage 2 of its 1.6 km acoustic wall.
Located along the southern boundary of the estate, the wall is designed to reduce noise from the nearby Princes Freeway.
Constructed using approximately 75% recycled plastic, the panels will divert 61 tonnes of waste from landfills, equivalent to the annual plastic waste of around 15,500 homes. The first stage of the acoustic wall was completed in 2024, and the second stage is expected to be finished by mid-2025, weather permitting.
Final land lots in Stage 42 now on sale
Stage 42e at Riverwalk is now selling. Stage 42e forms part of one of the final land precincts at Riverwalk.
Ideally positioned near local parks, moments away from the future Town Centre, Recreation Reserve and Aspire Early Learning and Kindergarten, residents will enjoy immediate connectivity to amenities.
The delivery of these homes supports the Victorian Government’s Housing Statement, which aims to deliver 800,000 new homes across the state over the next decade.
