Essential gas pipeline maintenance works in Docklands

A section of parkland on the corner of Harbour Esplanade and Collins Street is closed for essential gas pipeline works. 

This is part of a routine maintenance and inspection program on gas pipelines that run through Docklands, to ensure the ongoing safe supply of gas to the community.  

The work is being undertaken by APA on behalf of the Australian Gas Networks.  The inspection program will continue until Monday 5 April between 7.30am – 5pm on weekdays.  

While the work will have minimal impact, there may be increased activity in the area and areas of the park closed from time to time.  

At times there may be some noise and reduced speed limits on the streets around the work site.
