Community are being asked to provide feedback to help inform future uses for the 1.83 hectares of land formerly occupied by Coburg North TAFE.
Development Victoria is assessing options for the unused site, with a strong focus on creating local jobs and economic development.
The land consists of four parcels situated to the rear of the Lincoln Mills Homemaker Centre and Bunnings Coburg and is close to the Batman Train Station.
Individual sites:
- 21, 23, 29 Williams Road, Coburg North
- 20-22 Charles Street, Coburg North
- 54 Dawson Street, Coburg North
- 13 French Street, Coburg North
The land is zoned Industrial 1 Zone (INIZ) and is a key part of the Coburg North Core Industry and Employment Area.
Community consultation will run online from 12 October to 9 November via Engage Victoria. There will also be two in person information events held at 22 Charles Street (by the big chimney) in Coburg North Thursday 23 October and Saturday 25 October 2025.
