Front of double storey house with grey and white facade and grass stripProud homeowners at the Aurora Habitas residential development have begun moving in, with almost all the homes in this stage of the development now complete.

Acting Group Head Housing, Niall Cunningham, said Habitas is giving more people who want to buy and create a life in the north a place to call home.

Aurora has already supported the delivery of 2,000 homes to the suburbs of Epping and Wollert, giving the growing communities of Melbourne’s north more housing choice where they want to live.

“All 89 homes at Habitas have now sold, which is a clear reflection of the strong demand for and popularity of homes in the area.”

Development Victoria has partnered with two of Victoria’s leading residential builders, SOHO Living and Metricon TownLiving, to deliver the 89 townhouses which will create at least 300 jobs through planning, construction and supply chains.

Vincent Care Community Housing has purchased nine townhouses within the development which will be managed through VincentCare Community Housing, providing much-needed homes to Victorians eligible for social housing.

All the homes are well-located, within walking distance to the Aurora Northern Town Centre, local schools, open space areas and public transport, making it a convenient place to call home.

Aurora continues to cater to the growing community complemented by essential infrastructure such as roads, footpaths and parks, helping more Victorians enjoy where they live.
