Mirvac has achieved a major milestone at its $300 million luxury residential tower, Voyager, at Yarra’s Edge in Docklands, with a topping out ceremony.

The milestone signals confidence in the property sector and also highlighted the partnership between Development Victoria and Mirvac to deliver high quality development in Docklands.

Development Victoria’s Group Head Precincts, Geoff Ward, celebrated the ceremony with the Minister for Planning, the Hon Richard Wynne and Mirvac’s Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, and Head of Residential, Stuart Penklis.

The construction program for the Voyager development had not been impacted over the past year, with Mirvac delivering on project timeframes for an anticipated settlement in Spring 2021.

“Development Victoria is proud of its partnership with Mirvac and it is great to be part of the journey which has seen the Voyager development come to life at Yarra’s Edge, which is already home to around 3,000 people,” Mr Ward said.

“This has been a challenging year for the industry, and we congratulate Mirvac on the milestone and on their commitment to Docklands.”

The Voyager development is a 43-level luxury residential tower comprising 315 apartments and designed by Mirvac’s award-winning in-house design team.

Voyager is Mirvac’s response to the demand for quality residences and amenities in well-connected, inner-city locations. Its topping out is the next chapter in the development of Yarra’s Edge and a reflection of Mirvac’s ongoing commitment to the precinct.
