Development Victoria has helped deliver 676 new homes for rent in the iconic Docklands precinct, with the completion of HOME Docklands, two new residential buildings at 685 La Trobe Street, delivering more homes for renters in the right places.
The $400 million HOME Docklands development, designed by HOME and Cox Architecture, and built by Hacer Group, features amenities for residents including a wellness gym with a 25-metre pool, pilates studio, a high-tech workspace, extensive outdoor landscaped areas and BBQ’s, and a games room.
The building includes a ground floor retail mix to be enjoyed by the residents and the general public, featuring Moon Dog Brewery’s new offering “Doglands”, activating the concourse between Marvel Stadium and HOME Docklands, and public art installations creating spaces for a connected community.
Group Head Precincts, Niall Cunningham, said the build-to-rent offering in Docklands plays a key role in delivering much-needed housing to Melbourne.
