Sales for stage five of Development Victoria’s new Taylors Quarter development have now officially launched via a ballot process, with seven out of nine lots selling out on Saturday, October 19.

More than 1000 people have registered to buy land within the 9.1-hectare site on McCubbin Drive which includes a new park and is close to local shops, schools and transport services.

Taylors Quarter is the last major land release in Taylors Lakes.  With 45 lots sold across the first five stages, sales of the remaining 12 stages will be staggered over the next year.

Lot sizes range from 250 to 600 square metres, offering a variety of housing options for prospective buyers.

This new development also offers support for Homes for Homes, which provides purchasers with the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution of 0.1 per cent of the house price, with funds used to increase the supply of social and affordable housing for those in need.

As the initial vendor, Development Victoria is making the first contribution for each lot sold. All new buyers will be given the opportunity to make their own voluntary contribution, if they sell their property in the future. So far, buyers have elected to participate in the initiative.
