Development Victoria’s Sustainability Manager, Samantha Peart has been named a Green Star Champion as part of the Green Building Council of Australia's (GBCA) Green Building Day celebrations.
The Green Star Champions is a way to formally recognise and thank professionals who have been supporting the Green Star rating system for at least five years.
Green Building Council of Australia CEO, Davina Rooney, said the award recognised the vision, passion and commitment of leaders across industry who work to deliver a more sustainable built environment through the GBCA’s Green Star certification.
“Our Green Star Champions are ambassadors for Australian excellence, for the delivery of world leading projects across our cities and communities,” Davina Rooney said.
Samantha Peart said, "I’m very flattered and humbled to be recognised alongside such an impressive list of peers, many who I have worked with over the years. The calibre of the list also points to the commitment to the cause that the GBCA have fostered, and the collaborative network they have helped empower to drive change."
