Update on Junction Place

Development Victoria is committed to working with the City of Wodonga and the Wodonga community on next steps for Junction Place.

We all want to see a great outcome for this site - and for the Wodonga community.

Following our decision earlier this year to end the Development Agreement with private developer Central Place, we appreciate that the Wodonga community is eager to see the Junction Place development progress.

We are working through the next steps on the future of the project.

We are currently undertaking a series of meetings with Council and stakeholders as part of our commitment to work in partnership with the City of Wodonga and local community.

Following these meetings, we will begin to look at what future community engagement and consultation could look like and how it is delivered. 

Junction Place is Australia’s largest regional urban renewal initiative that aims to transform central Wodonga into a vibrant entertainment and community precinct.

The project will create more than 1000 local jobs and boost economic growth in the northern Victorian city.
