Development Victoria is progressing with plans to transform unused land in Knoxfield into a new community – close to jobs, transport, hospitals and schools.
Acting Group Head Housing, Nemesia Kennett, said installation of the sales office has begun on the site – which is a crucial step in the development's progress.
With strong interest in the project already, prospective homeowners will soon be able to explore the diverse range of housing options that will be on offer.

"We're delivering approximately 400 homes, including 10% affordable, so more people can live in the well-established suburb.”
“The development is also set to enhance the health of local waterways with an improved, open-water wetland that will provide the ideal habitat for local wildlife and improve the treatment of stormwater into Blind Creek.”
In addition to improving the wetland and waterways, the development will showcase best practice sustainability principles by adopting the Green Star Communities rating tool.
Works to establish a temporary access road will begin following the installation of the sales office building over the coming months, providing access for prospective buyers to explore housing options once it opens.
Civil works for the first stages of the development are expected to commence later this year, subject to further approvals.
Development Victoria will work closely with Knox City Council and other key stakeholders as it progresses and will continue to keep the local community informed.
