Design Guidelines
Design Guidelines will safeguard the precinct’s long-term quality and value, protecting the investment of lot owners. Plans must be submitted for approval prior to seeking a planning permit from the City of Whittlesea.
The guidelines address key design elements such as building setbacks, façade articulation, colours and materials, landscaping and fencing, with sustainability principles embedded to help reduce urban heat, improve climate resilience and integrate water-sensitive urban design.
