Overview

We are upgrading the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park as part of the Victorian Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.

The upgrades will include:

A new pavilion
Upgraded pitches with lighting
Increased visitor capacity

From elite soccer to live music, the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park is a major sport and entertainment hub for the region. These upgrades will ensure the Gippsland region continues to attract major events and boost the local economy.

Engagement

In March 2025, we invited the Latrobe community to attend information sessions, where the project team were available to share the designs and answer questions regarding the plans for the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park.

Community members were invited to provide a written submission on the project via Engage Victoria which was open from Tuesday 4 March until Tuesday 1 April. This was the final opportunity to provide feedback on the project.
