Overview
We're working with the Victorian Government, Melbourne Cricket Club and the MCG Trust to investigate the future requirements of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) to help ensure the stadium and precinct maintains its world-class status for years to come.
The business case will review the current state of the MCG, including the ageing Shane Warne Stand, and options for redevelopment to meet the contemporary facilities that athletes and spectators require.
A redevelopment of this size and scale requires significant planning and investigations prior to any construction commencing, with an anticipated project timeline of at least 10 years.
We have started the process to find a range of specialists to work with us to develop the MCG Redevelopment 2025 Business Case. This includes a lead architect, engineering consultants and technical and commercial experts.
