Olearia Morwell

Overview

A new residential community is coming to Morwell, with the Olearia development set to deliver 72 residential lots across a 4.4-hectare site at 10 English Street. Transforming a vacant site into a vibrant new residential community, delivering a mix of social, affordable and private housing close to jobs, services, transport and community facilities.

The name Olearia draws inspiration from a native flowering plant found in south-eastern Australia, including Morwell. Like the plant, the development will be woven into the local landscape and contribute to the town’s growth and renewal.

Development Victoria is working closely with Latrobe City Council and other key partners to ensure the project reflects the needs of the local community and contributes to broader regional development.
