The ability to grow at Development Victoria is continuous. Since starting as an Assistant Development Manager almost 8 years ago, the organisation has given me opportunities to develop my skills and work my way up to Senior Development Manager.

I was drawn to the variety of work and the iconic and city shaping projects at Development Victoria. It is satisfying to find solutions for various projects and the myriad of associated challenges, and to see great developments delivered for our communities.

Development Victoria is full of amazing people who are so passionate about the work that they do. Everyone is easy to talk to, and I have made some great friends in my time here.

I feel very lucky to have the full support of my managers to participate in career development opportunities and be in a team where professional development is actively encouraged. 

My transition back to work following parental leave has been fully supported by my colleagues and the wider business. I feel confident that I can slowly build a happy work life balance where I get to work on exciting and diverse Melbourne based projects whilst also nurturing my little mini me.

Development Victoria projects are unique and have provided a challenging environment which has helped to build my skill, competency and experience in project delivery.
