We’re thrilled to see our leadership in diversity recognised as the winner of the Diversity in Development Award in the UDIA Awards for Excellence 2023.
The Diversity in Development Award not only acknowledges but also encourages and promotes diversity in the development sector. With people at the core of what we do, we know that diversity is key to achieving our goal of delivering places that make a genuine difference to the people of Victoria.
We’re also proud to see two of our team members recognised as finalists in today's awards, further highlighting our organisation's commitment to excellence.
Our Project Manager Sandra Dias was a Finalist for the Young Leader's Award, a recognition that celebrates and promotes the positive contributions made by young property professionals.
With a proven track record in delivering complex projects within the property and construction industry, Sandra's role in the success of significant projects, including the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation and the Geelong Arts Centre Redevelopment, is commendable. We proudly applaud Sandra's dedication and expertise, acknowledging her valuable contributions to the broader industry.
Our Senior Development Director, Karen Cowden was also recognised as a Finalist for the Women in Leadership Award. Known for her intuitive leadership style, Karen consistently seeks opportunities to refine her skills. Having played pivotal roles across the organisation, she consistently demonstrates her commitment to excellence, her passion for the business and her encouragement and development of her team.
Development Victoria is honoured to be recognised not only for our commitment to diversity in development but also for the outstanding achievements of our talented team members.
