Docklands Dollars, a voucher scheme designed to encourage visitors to stay, eat, buy and play in Docklands, has been launched by the Docklands Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Victorian Government, the City of Melbourne and Development Victoria.
The vouchers will provide added incentive for visitors to head to Docklands to explore everything it has to offer. A $100 rebate is available for a two-night stay at accommodation in Docklands, along with a further $110 rebate to use across restaurants, attractions, retail, services and fast food. The rebates can be used in conjunction with the Victorian Government’s accommodation voucher scheme.
“We are proud to support this fantastic initiative from the Docklands Chamber of Commerce,” said Geoff Ward, Group Head Precincts, Development Victoria.
“We acknowledge what a difficult year 2020 was for all of Melbourne and we are excited to see the Docklands community come together to support the local traders and businesses in bouncing back.

“We all deserve a break and Docklands businesses have so much to offer, with quality accommodation, excellent restaurants and shopping, or plenty of other attractions in the precinct.”
Interested visitors can register for the Docklands Dollars voucher scheme via www.docklandsdollars.com.au from Monday 29 March 2021 at midday, with 30 days to activate their registration by staying in Docklands for a minimum of two nights and a further 30 days to submit receipts for a direct rebate. The number of vouchers is limited, with a new allocation being released monthly. A minimum two-night stay is required in participating Docklands accommodation.
