The Riverwalk Spring Community Update is here

Home to over 2,500 residents, Riverwalk is a thriving community in Melbourne's west.

As we continue to support this growing community, we are excited to share the recent milestones we have achieved at this project, and our plans to deliver more infrastructure, open space and facilities in our Spring Community Update.

Highlights for this edition include:

New Sustainable Acoustic Wall

Riverwalk residents will soon benefit from the installation of an environmentally sustainable acoustic wall, designed to reduce traffic noise from the Princes Freeway.

The panels for the 1.6km long wall are made using approximately 75% recycled plastic, and approximately 61 tonnes of recycled plastic will be used to make the wall. The first section is currently under construction, with the final stage expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Town Centre

The Town Centre site was sold to Oreana Group in December 2021, and with this land recently settled, they are currently finalising the planning permit application for the site which will be submitted to Council over the coming months.

Progress Updates

We have been progressing works for Stage 29, Stage 30, Stages 31-35 as well as the Farm Road Intersection and Southern Local Park.
