Update following Cairnlea Planning Scheme Amendment Public Hearing

The Government Land Standing Advisory Committee’s Public Hearing for the proposed Planning Scheme Amendment at Development Victoria’s Cairnlea site has now concluded.

The Planning Scheme Amendment application was referred by the Minister for Planning, the Hon. Richard Wynne MP, to the Government Land Standing Advisory Committee for review.

This Hearing, chaired by Lisa Kendal, was open to the public and allowed people who made submissions regarding the proposal to present their views to the Committee. 

Now that this Hearing has concluded, the Committee will prepare a report for the Minister to consider.

Development Victoria would like to thank everyone who presented to the Committee over the course of the 12-day Hearing - and those who provided a written submission for consideration during the process.

We look forward to the next stage of this process as we work towards transforming the site into a vibrant new residential neighbourhood.
