Riverwalk is a well-established community in Melbourne’s thriving west, which is already home to over 2,500 residents.

We are continuing to support this growing community through the delivery of open space, infrastructure, and new services, and are excited to share our latest updates in our winter community update.

Highlights for this edition include:

Tulsi Avenue Park Opens

Located across the road from Riverwalk Primary School, the recently opened Tulsi Avenue Park is the third park we have delivered at Riverwalk. Just over one hectare in size, the new park features a picnic shelter and a range of recreation equipment.

Stage 1 Acoustic Wall complete

The first stage of the acoustic wall has been installed along the southern boundary of Riverwalk (bordering the Princes Freeway). This wall reduces traffic noise for residents, making Riverwalk an even more peaceful place to live.

Mixed Use Site Update

A high-quality residential aged care facility is confirmed for Riverwalk, with Arcare (a subsidiary of Knowles Group) purchasing the mixed-use site at Riverwalk.

Town Centre Update

Orena Group, who purchased the Town Centre site in June 2022, has finalised its planning application and submitted to Wyndham Council for approval.

Progress Updates

Updates on:

  • Southern Wetland
  • Farm Roard signalised intersection
  • Stages 29 - 36
  • Stage 41
